This is Sian – what a beauty!

I shot her wedding this Saturday and boy, were we lucky with the weather as it’s not stopped raining in Sydney since Sunday morning – blessed !

It’s sad to think that all this rain has come from the devastating weather in Queensland and my thoughts go out to all those battling extreme weather conditions.

As I’m selecting the final images from the day I thought I’d share this one candid I caught of Sian in her Carolina Herrera dress, as she was walking back up to the reception – such a natural, beautiful moment.

It’s a new year

Hello,

I love the start to a New Year – it’s so refreshing and positive and the air is filled with good vibes.  People are on holidays, everyone is relaxed, and (hopefully) the weather is good on this side of the globe.

All my clients know that last year was a pretty amazing one for me and my family – we were blessed with a daughter in February – Daisy Susan.

She has certainly kept us busy these last 11 months and I’d do it all again in a heartbeat – it’s staggering to think she’ll soon have her first birthday.

Being a Mum has opened up emotions and feelings I never knew I had and I’m sure it has made me a more sensitive photographer and person in general.

This year amongst my New Years Resolutions such as ‘eat more pizza on Norton st’ and ‘drink more champagne’ I am also going to ‘post more’ and show more of ‘me’ on the blog.  Sometimes it’s a struggle to keep up with it all being a working Mum, but I do think it’s important for my clients to connect with me from prior to booking, during the lead up to the wedding, and of course on the day itself.
