Jasmine & Patrick Engagement

A while back I did a competition in conjunction with Polka Dot Bride and Jess from Oscar & Ruby for a free styled engagement session to the couple with the most creative mood board entry.  Patrick & Jasmine won, and their shoot was showcased on Polka Dot Bride here.

I realise that not everyone would have seen that post so I thought it best to do one of my own on this blog before I post their wedding pictures which are equally gorgeous and being published in the next edition of Bride to Be magazine.

Patrick & Jasmine love the camera and wanted to do something a bit dramatic and playful so vintage glamour was our style.  I loved the results as the ones at The Commons underground with studio lighting  are quite different from what I would usually shoot at an engagement session.

Enjoy !

Heidi & Christian – Engagement Photos

I’ve already posted Heidi & Christian’s wedding photos here but have not yet blogged their engagement photos (although Polka Dot Bride showcased them here) – a bit topsy turvy posting them the other way around but it’s that kind of a day today – and there are shots here that were not included in the PDB post.

We decided to go to the beach for this session as we would be in the city for their wedding photos and wanted them to be different.  Milo, Heidi & Christian’s gorgeous puppy came with us, as he is very much a part of their family.  He also showed up after the ceremony on the wedding day!  So cute.

These two people are really peas in a pod – just the sweetest couple.

Enjoy,

Steph & Dan at Sergeant’s Mess Mosman

Dan is in The Army – Steph buys shoes for a living. WHAAAATTT!!?  My jaw did literally drop when she told me.  Steph came to see me on her own as Dan was overseas at the time working hard for our country.  Being a winter wedding, we decided to do a ‘first look’ and their ceremony was right at sunset.

I loved all the pastel colours Steph co-ordinated for their wedding and her dramatic makeup – so many girls go natural it was lovely to see someone glamming it up.

Enjoy!

With love,
Nerida
