Viv & Josh’s wedding – Camelot and Gardens on Forest

Anika and I shot this wedding a few weeks ago – Viv and Josh are so in love!   They were smiling and giggling all day and it was lovely to see.

This was the first time I have shot a wedding involving any Assyrian traditions and boy do they know how to dance and party ! – the whole day had a wonderful atmosphere and was so much fun to shoot. The day was a lovely blend of both Viv & Josh’s cultural backgrounds.

Their ceremony was at an Assyrian church and reception held at Gardens On Forest. We split location photography between Camelot in Camden and The Mount Annan Botanic Gardens.

With love,

The lovely Roberts Circa 1876 is where Des & Deirdre had their casual but elegant Hunter Valley Wedding.  I love how Deirdre’s something blue was her wedding gown! Not traditional at all and a lovely surprise for me to photograph.

They were laughing the entire time and are obviously so well suited it was great to witness their vowes and all the family and friends celebrating madly.

Des & Deirdre are also passionate Flamenco dancers and we were treated to some amazing dancing later on in the night.

Lucie & Eric’s wedding at Loreto Kirribilli and QVB The Tearooms

Lucie & Eric got married at Loreto Chapel Kirribilli which is where I went to school !  It was lovely wandering the grounds and being filled with great memories from my time there.  The chapel has such nice light to shoot in as well.

It was raining for most of the location but thankfully the school grounds have great wet weather options as does the QVB where their reception was held at The Tearooms.

I particularly loved Lucie’s bouquet – so simple but beautiful and elegant – it suited her perfectly.

With love,

Carolyn & Pete’s wedding at Dunbar House

I had been looking forward to Carolyn & Pete’s wedding for a while – as it would be the first wedding I was able to shoot in the newly reonvated Dunbar House

I wasn’t dissapointed – the venue is stunning and of course – you can’t go wrong with waterfront in Watsons Bay.

Carolyn & Pete were super easy going and had a really fun bridal party which made the location shoot full of laughs and jokes.

I had too much fun photographing Carolyn in her veil because I absolutely LOVE mantilla veils …. all kinds of gorgeous.

My favourite shot from the day would have to be the 3rd last shot in this post on the left of the two lovebirds just before entering their reception.

Have a great week everyone.

With love,

Nerida
