Fresh Catering – Linda & Peter’s wedding at the MCA

I was catching up with Chloe Patch (who is the Event Manager of Vaucluse House Tearooms) this morning – what a perfect day to grab a coffee and wander in the grounds, Spring is in full swing and I’m loving it. :-) It reminded me of Linda & Peter’s wedding that I shot in February of this year.

I first met Peter years ago when I started as a preferred supplier for Vaucluse House Tearooms – he owns and runs Fresh Catering.

I was honored when he and Linda asked me to shoot their wedding, and so pleased I could witness their union and party with a fabulous bunch of friends and family.

We were allowed into Elizabeth Bay House for a few photos with Linda before the ceremony – you can see here on the right.

The shots are currently being considered for publication so I can’t do a full blog post – however here is a sneak peek at Linda – her maid of honour also made her dress! Quite special.

Georgia & Ed The Public Dining Room Balmoral

I was first contacted by Georgia’s Mum about her wedding as Georgia lives in the US.  It was to be an intimate lunchtime affair with a church ceremony and reception at a fine dining restaurant (Public Dining Room).  Sounds good to me I said ;-)

I got to meet Georgia & Ed the week of the wedding and they were all smiles.  Those of you that know me know, I’m a sucker for lace and hot shoes, so a full length lace gown and blue Christian Le Boutin’s were a wee bit exciting :-) !

A July wedding, but you wouldn’t know it from the photos….they were blessed with incredible weather.

Enjoy,

With love,

Nerida

Ben & Marika – prep

Hi Folks,

It seems with a little one in day care sometimes our house has just cold after cold – but we soldier on :-)

Today I’m busy doing some non-wedding photography related tasks and businessy stuff – not the fun stuff like shooting and creating blog posts ! But running a small business involves so many ‘pies’.

There are soooooo many shots I want to include from Ben & Marika’s wedding in a blog post it will end up being huge.  For now, I’ll post these prep shots and next week show you some more.

If you would like to see a snapshot of their day you can see more on their facebook album here.

I love Ben & Marika because they exude the most incredible electric energy as a couple – you just know they are soul-mates.  I also shot their engagement session which you can see some of here – and I really think this helped them relax on the day and was great for our relationship to already be established by their wedding day and I had their trust.

With love and sniffles,

Nerida
