Rachel & James’s wedding at Loreto Kiribilli and Aqua Dining

I shot Rachel & James’s wedding in October – It was serious fun !  There were some shouting and crazy fun Singaporean traditions at the very end of the reception that had me in stitches and we had the location photography in Lavender Bay near the wharf and Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden.

She had one of the prettiest bouquets I have ever seen from Flourish – luckily she got married during Peony season ;-)

Rachel’s shoes were also to die for and suited her personality – fun and sparkly.  And her gown from Corston Couture was unique and fitted her like a glove !

Aqua Dining is such a great location right on Sydney Harbour,  I always enjoy being there and soaking up the view.

A big blog post for this one there are so many parts of their story to tell from the day.

With love,

Nerida

Heidi & Christians wedding at St Charles & Dockside

Some of you may know I’m a sucker for lace – simply makes me drool and I also have a fetish for Mantilla Veils.

I was very excited then when I saw Heidi’s outfit for her wedding day.

I did an engagement shoot of Heidi & Christian at a beach last year which was showcased on Polka Dot Bride a little while ago.

It was great to get to know them as a couple and for them to know how I like to work on location – it was especially good because on their wedding day the location was cut a little short so they were prepared when I was giving direction and we worked quickly together.

Enough of my rambling – there were many unique aspects of their wedding which you can see in the pictures, especially the reception and some Filipino traditions at the ceremony – so enjoy  these pics!

Jeff & Amanda’s wedding at Blueys Beach & Magic Mountain private property

Jeff and Amanda are great friends of mine and my wonder photographers Karina & Anika shot this wedding for them.

The brief was ‘go crazy creative use different lenses and experiment’ – awesome!  Not how we would usually approach a wedding but it worked and they love the results.

Their ceremony was at Bluey’s Beach where Amanda’s family has holidayed for generations – their reception was at a private property on the NSW Coast called Magic Mountain.

You can see a very pregnant me in photo 16 cheering them on.

With love,

Nerida
