Sian & Anthony’s wedding at Sergeants Mess

Sian & Anthony’s wedding was all held at Sergeant’s Mess (aside from the getting ready of course) – so the ceremony had the backdrop of Sydney Harbour with gorgeous pastel blue skies and water and their reception in the plush grand room of the main dining hall.

Sian’s incredible gown was from Caroline Herrera, her shoes from Nat Sui, pretty blooms from Avalon Floral Art, and her hair and makeup by the talented Sandra Wograndl.

I do spend a lot of time at Sergeant’s Mess and Chowder Bay and I simply couldn’t be luckier to shoot in such gorgeous spaces – I’m always happy to go back.

With love,
Nerida

Heidi & Christians wedding at St Charles & Dockside

Some of you may know I’m a sucker for lace – simply makes me drool and I also have a fetish for Mantilla Veils.

I was very excited then when I saw Heidi’s outfit for her wedding day.

I did an engagement shoot of Heidi & Christian at a beach last year which was showcased on Polka Dot Bride a little while ago.

It was great to get to know them as a couple and for them to know how I like to work on location – it was especially good because on their wedding day the location was cut a little short so they were prepared when I was giving direction and we worked quickly together.

Enough of my rambling – there were many unique aspects of their wedding which you can see in the pictures, especially the reception and some Filipino traditions at the ceremony – so enjoy  these pics!

Stephanie & Aaron’s wedding at Mandalay

Stephanie & Aaron’s wedding showed me that the Lebanese know how to party !!!

No detail was left undone, Stephanie put so much work into her special day with Aaron. (actually Aaron, in all fairness I’m not sure how much you were responsible for this as well :-))

Her bridesmaids were such fun on the day and were clearly very happy to be supporting Steph and I don’t need to tell you that she was one of the most photogenic brides – always glowing!

This is quite a big post because it was a big day!

Kate & Ken’s wedding Dunbar House

Kate & Ken’s day was in no way dampened by the rain that forced the ceremony inside Dunbar House.  We were very lucky it held off for some time after the ceremony as well to get some portraits – yay!

Smiles smiles and more smiles were in every photo we took, there was just so much laughter and genuine happiness for this couple amongst their family and friends.

I especially liked Kate’s hairpiece :-)

With love,

Nerida
