Mel & Jevon Vaucluse House Tearooms Wedding

Mel & Jevon came to me just at the right time.  They were having a sweet afternoon wedding at one of my all time favourite venues Vaucluse House Tearooms.  The reason it’s one of my favourite venues is because you can have all the big moments at the one venue … ceremony, photos and reception. It takes out so many logistical nightmares for couples and guests and even though it’s a public space it feels so very private.  I’ve shot here in rain, sunshine and clouds and all worked equally well.  If you’re a long time reader of my blog or work in general you’ll know that I have a lace obsession … and Mel totally did it for me on this day !  Having young kids myself I loved how their son was involved in the wedding – and look at that outfit ! Soooooooo cute.  Mel & Jevon both have a great sense of humour and this shone through all day with their big smiles…. they are truly smitten with each other and can laugh and cry in the same minute !  I’m off to post a picture of that beautiful veil on Instagram now :-)

Karen & Iain’s wedding at Vaucluse House & Dunbar House

We had a spectacular Autumn Sunday for Karen & Iain’s wedding in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney in early March.  Karen’s incredible Justin Alexander gown was stunning to photograph as was her flawless look created by Amy ChanRobyn Pattison is one of Sydney’s most loved Celebrants and is always a pleasure to work with making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen a pretty colourful bouquet (my Brides tend to like white and pastel) and these lovelies from Best Buds suited the colour scheme of the wedding perfectly.

Dunbar House provided the usual gourmet delights as did Faye Cahill the classic cake.
Wishing Karen & Iain a lifetime of happiness and fulfillment in their married lives !

Stacey & John’s wedding at Vaucluse House

This is SUCH pretty wedding ! You may have seen some of their engagement photos here which were shot at the Camellia Gardens.

Stacey and John decided to have their ceremony and reception in the one place all at Vaucluse House and Vaucluse House Tearooms.

We were very lucky with the rain on this particular Friday, as it started out not looking so good in the morning – however it all turned around and I was so happy for Stacey & John…. Congrats Guys looking forward to making the album!
