The emotion at weddings is probably, at the end of the day, – my favourite part. The gorgeous frocks, the couple in love, the big party, are also fantastic things to witness, but raw emotion from family and friends is what ultimately tugs on my heartstrings.
Just doing the final touches on Imogen & John’s album and saw this shot, this was taken during the ceremony as they took their first kiss as husband and wife.

I got to spend Saturday morning with my lovely friend Dara who needed some portraits done. Dara runs her own business and wanted to have some photos for social media, PR and marketing material. We had such fun and it was amazing weather here this weekend in Sydney.
Recently I’ve been asked to do quite a lot of portraits for small to medium business owners who are are opting out of the stiff ‘school photo’ style portraits and are looking for something more natural and lifestyle driven. Fun times for me :-)

This photo has reminded me to visit The Camellia Gardens this Spring. I’m so looking forward to spring already – lots of beautiful weddings and locations as well as playful family time with my nearest in dearest up and down the coast.

Today I’m designing Amber and Andrez’s wedding album – I shot their big day in May this year.
