Isabelle & Rohan Deckhouse Wedding Woolwich

Boy was this wedding hard to create a practical size blog post from ! I wanted to blog twice this many pics ! It was a massive day with so many great opportunities for photographs, romantic ones, funny ones, straight up beautiful ones … it was a very satisfying job to do.  Isabelle & Rohan’s day was quite magical on so many levels … a poignant ceremony, incredible weather for our location afterwards and a party and band that rocked the house all night.

Carla & Ross’s wedding at the MCA

I’d lie if I said I didn’t cry at this wedding … in fact, I have a little tear at most of my jobs these days …I love emotion, I love capturing emotion, and I’m quite an emotional person – which is perhaps why I’m drawn to such an emotional job like wedding photography !  These two lovebirds decided on a ‘first look’, which is becoming increasingly popular these days, to enable them to get straight to the party after the ceremony.  Carla exudes warmth and beauty and Ross is completely enamoured with her – I love seeing this especially in couples that have already been together for many many MANY years !  It was a very stylish night and I loved hanging with them, their friends and family – really great folk !

Kylie & Jayson’s wedding at Dockside & Botanical Gardens

Kylie & Jayson’s wedding was back in April of this year.  Kylie and Jayson had seen me work at several of their friends weddings and I was so delighted they chose me to cover their day.  I got to see a bunch of wonderful clients who I’ve already worked for and felt right at home with all the familiar faces.  Kylie & Jayson’s celebrant was Pauline Fawkner who I seem to run into all the time!

We stayed for the first hour of reception and then headed home so this post finishes with their cake cutting – and believe it or not Kylie made the cake !? Amazing – super talented lady.

Kylie & Jayson are expecting their ‘honeymoon’ baby early next year and I wish them all the best !
