Carolyn & Pete’s wedding at Dunbar House

I had been looking forward to Carolyn & Pete’s wedding for a while – as it would be the first wedding I was able to shoot in the newly reonvated Dunbar House

I wasn’t dissapointed – the venue is stunning and of course – you can’t go wrong with waterfront in Watsons Bay.

Carolyn & Pete were super easy going and had a really fun bridal party which made the location shoot full of laughs and jokes.

I had too much fun photographing Carolyn in her veil because I absolutely LOVE mantilla veils …. all kinds of gorgeous.

My favourite shot from the day would have to be the 3rd last shot in this post on the left of the two lovebirds just before entering their reception.

Have a great week everyone.

With love,

Nerida

Little Ones …

I love Sydney weather – today, simultaneously, we had a bright sun, heavy rain and huge rainbow arched across the city.

I was driving back from having tea with a girlfriend, who 6 months ago, had a beautiful baby girl and I had to take my camera with me.

As a rule I don’t ‘do’ baby or family photography – I leave it to the experts that have tricky attachments on their camera for toys, bells and whistles :-)

Also with our heavy workload of weddings each year, I also simply don’t have the time.

I thought I’d share a few of Lauren with you from this morning – as she is too cute not to share !

Phae & Steven’s wedding … Southern Highlands

Hi readers,

I usually don’t write very much with my blog posts … I think that you’d much rather look at pictures than listen to ‘me’!  But apparently (so I’ve been told) … some of you would actually like to hear my ‘voice’ from time to time :-)

I shot this wedding the day before I left for my 3 week South Africa trip in April.  Phae had me in mind as her photographer for a long time, so most of all, I hope she is happy with the results.

She was a very glamourous bride surrounded by glamazon bridesmaids as well, who were all a delight!

I love shooting in the Southern Highlands because the environment is so lush, there are manicured gardens, there are open spaces and of course, the vineyards … you can’t go wrong.

Enjoy …

With love,

Nerida x
