Annette & Matthew’s wedding at Vaucluse House Tearooms and Dunbar House

Annette and Matthew are the sweetest couple. I loved hearing their love story in the speeches, how they met, and fell in love. Matthew is just sooooooo smitten with his bride it was divine to watch.

I feel like I’m always saying this in blog posts but honestly we were so lucky with the weather ! It just rained and rained the day prior and the morning of, but then, just for us :-) it stopped ! Was such a glorious day. I was of course pretty stocked when I arrived to Annette wearing a Lilli Marcs and rocking a hot pair of Jimmy Choos.

Rosie & Archie

These guys are so in love. I just ordered one of these prints for them and so I had to share this photo. It was taken at Clarkes Point Reserve just around the corner from their reception venue The Deckhouse.

Samantha & Jake’s wedding at Curzon Hall

Samantha and Jake’s flawless day started for me at the Peir One. I love shooting there because the colour scheme is neutral and white which goes with any bridal party. It’s always nice to be on the harbour as well of course !

Their ceremony was in a new spot for me at Curzon Hall in the back called the Eternal Garden – very private and lovely. Samantha’s bridesmaids were in cute purpley pinkish 50’s inspired outfits (Bridesmaids Only) that really popped against all the green colour in the venue.

It was a pretty serious party and I know because I was there till the end ! Dancing dancing and laughing was all I saw for the last 2 hours of the night.

Daria & Santiago – Lovers

A little bit of sweetness for you this afternoon with Daria & Santiago.

We had a gorgeous afternoon in The Rocks (specifically Observatory Hill Park) and in the Botanical Gardens (in particular around Mrs Macquarie’s Chair). Daria & Santiago were keen to incorporate the landscape parts of Sydney that are very ‘Sydney’ hence the location.

I suggested 2 outfits which I do to all my clients for their engagement shoots, one more casual and one a bit more dressy. We didn’t have a theme or a bunch of props for this one it was simply about them and the Sydney-scape. Their energy together is so touching and are clearly very at home with one another – this is what makes great couple photos ! Lovely locations are good, as are lovely clothes, but what really gets me excited is emotion in photographs and when two people are in love, you just can’t hide it. Enjoy these shots !
